🏝 First Impressions: Touching Down in Paradise
When we arrived in Anguilla, one of my absolute favorite Caribbean islands, I was thrilled to be staying at the Aurora Anguilla. This stunning resort, which was formerly The CuisinArt Golf Resort & Spa, has completely elevated its guest experience.
I’ve been lucky enough to stay at the Aurora twice; once as a family vacation and secondly to celebrate a big birthday with my girlfriends. Each time we stayed in one of their three-bedroom beachfront villas. The layout was ideal for families or groups: two bedrooms were connected to the main living area, and a separate king-bedded suite sat just across a private courtyard. The slightly separate suite is perfect for teenagers, a sitter, or an additional guest who wanted a bit more privacy. Waking up just steps from the sand was pure magic.

🌅 Aurora Anguilla: A New Standard for Island Chic
Aurora wasn’t just a rebrand; it was a full transformation. Sleek, modern interiors blended effortlessly with relaxed island charm, and everything felt designed to help guests truly unwind. The beachfront was stunning, the landscaping lush, and the entire atmosphere was peaceful and easy.
Between ocean dips, fresh ceviche lunches, boat charters around the island and lazy afternoons on the villa’s patio with a rum punch in hand, I kept thinking: this was exactly what Caribbean luxury should feel like.
🌴 Favorites Worth Mentioning: Four Seasons & Belmond Cap Juluca
While Aurora made a lasting impression for both family and adult holidays, no trip to Anguilla would be complete without celebrating two other iconic properties: the Four Seasons Anguilla and Belmond Cap Juluca.

The Four Seasons brings a modern, elevated resort experience with every luxury touch you could imagine: multiple villa options ranging from 3 to 5 bedrooms, chic rooms, suites and studios to fit any luxury traveler, cliffside infinity pools, sophisticated dining, and spa treatments overlooking the sea.
Meanwhile, Cap Juluca delivers romance in its purest form and is also a good family option. Nestled on the powdery sands of Maundays Bay, one of the best beaches on the island, its whitewashed villas and Moorish-inspired details made the property feel like a tranquil dream. The food and beverage options are plentiful ranging from fun food trucks on the beach to elegant seaside dining. Belmond Cap Juluca is elegant, serene, and effortlessly photogenic.
Each of these resorts offered something unique, and depending on your travel style—family retreat, honeymoon, girls getaway, or solo soul-searching—they all deserve a spot on your Angilla must-stay list!
✨ Final Reflections
Revisiting Anguilla reminded me why I love this island so much. It had the perfect balance of calm, culture, amazing dining and genuine hospitality. It never tried too hard, because it didn’t need to.
Whether traveling with loved ones, seeking quiet luxury, or looking for a reset, Anguilla delivers something deeply memorable. And if you're dreaming of your own escape to this Caribbean gem, I’d love to help design a journey that’s just as effortless and unforgettable.
